Lately the fashion work is looking more like a wedding cake land with different designers like madame Betsey Johnson etc. and stores like urban outfitters butting out frilly and flowing frocks with layers upon... well Layers :) keep an eye out for an LBD to wear to practically any occasion done in the same design.

Throw on a powerful suit, bold sillouette, rouge lips and a kathrine hepburn movie, cos the forties are making a slow and steady come back to the runways. Perfect for eveningwear, this is a must for the fall wardrobe... Intense!

In stores like H&M and Costa Blanca, you can see a fluffy bunny baby blanket pink on the hangers, this colour oozes femme and anything from a scarf, baret(which are also making a noteable comeback)to a cardigan or a sweetheart top will do.

Downtown Trends for Fall/Winter 09/10

Yellow
both the young and the old sported the sunny disposition in the downtown trashfest of the 'shwa. *most of the elderly having a jumpsuit version of the yellow get up.*

We have all gone mad for plaid!!

With the recession , the crap weather and fall closing in, what better way to express yourself than through one of the oldest patterns in the book. Plaid is known for its laid back non-chalance , seen on iconic Kurt Cobain, and now on various starlets throughout L.A. etc.

Your best best if you want to buy some plaid this winter, is to try out some cool colours like above blue and purple and white. mixed with black and grey. Those are your best colours on the forcast. Heck- even guys are wearing plaid( technically they wore it first.)

WOOL SWEATERS.
Being the trooper I am, I tend to shop at winners. A discount brand clothing store. its always good for finding something different there thats a bit different from everything else, and one thing that stood out this year was the amount of plaid AND Big knitted grey wool sweaters. Personally I dont know about this trend. Its might be good for layering on during the winter days. But for fall its rather a miss...you decide.

goes great with a pair of skinnies and black or colour accented heels this summer may be all about colour, but we are hunkering down for oncoming winter with thick material accented by detailed acessories.

Dangerously high Heels

Not only are they sky high, they are so detailed... they look like they could be mechanical. pair em up with opaque tights or socks... thats right I said socks.

THE BIG SWEATER

Its the most versitile thing ever to be belted and worn with tights. Or if its like the sweater beside , pop on metallic flats and simple black leggings OR pale wash skinny denim

First posts are always so awkward.

The main purpose here is to have a street and street style blog a place for me to show and tell about music fashion and art , Ive always wanted one normally im in front of a camera rather than behind it but I figure that now is a better time than any to start because of whats to come.
